Your Health Data, Your Device
PeckPill keeps your medication data private. Your medication list, dose history, reminders, and streaks are stored locally on your device. We do not sell, rent, or share your health information with anyone.
What We Store Locally

- Dose history (taken, skipped, missed) and skip reasons
- Streak counts and adherence statistics
- Notification and reminder preferences
- Your display name and app settings
No Ads, No Tracking, No Data Sales
- No advertising inside the app
- No personal health data sold or shared with third parties
- No behavioral tracking across other apps or websites
Authentication (Optional Sign‑In)
If you choose to sign in with Google, we use Firebase Authentication to verify your identity. Firebase receives your Google account email and a unique user ID so we can securely recognize you across sessions. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, or Google Drive. You can review Firebase's privacy policy for more information.
Notifications
PeckPill schedules local reminder notifications on your device to help you take your medications on time. These reminders are generated and delivered by your device's operating system — they are not sent from our servers and contain no personal data in transit.
Data Deletion
All your medication data lives on your device. To delete it, simply uninstall the app or clear the app's storage in your system settings. If you signed in with Google and would like to remove your authentication record, contact us at the email below and we will delete your sign‑in data.
Data Security
Your medication data is stored in your device's secure local storage provided by the operating system. Authentication data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections to Firebase. Since your medication information never leaves your device, there is no risk of a remote health‑data breach.
Medical Disclaimer
PeckPill is a medication tracking and reminder tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow the directions of your healthcare provider and pharmacist.
Children's Privacy
PeckPill is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
